Los Angeles - Christyana Scorza lead the way with 14 points and Shymayne Callahan added 12 against the No. 3 ranked Pasadena Lancers, as the LASC women's basketball fell 77-46 at the Thomas G. Lakin Physical Education Center Friday night.
The Cougars strong start for the first half, leading by as many as six at the 14:42 mark, against the now 13-4 Pasadena Lancers was cut short as Pasadena went on an 20-8 run the last five minutes in the first half.
The Lancers hit their first double-digit lead around the 4:45 mark of the first half, 18-28, and would stretch that to as many as 22 by half-time.
Parks led Pasadena with 20 points while Thompson and Loving finished with both 7 each.
The Cougars head to LA Harbor for their first away game of the 2013-2014 SCC-South contest on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. The homestand continues Jan. 17 verses #6 ranked Long Beach CIty at 7 p.m.
