The Business Department at Los Angeles Southwest College offers students the opportunity to acquire skills in a number of dynamic areas: the latest computer application programs, business English, graphics and accounting software.
Degree and certificate programs are designed to prepare students for immediate employment and for promotional opportunities in information systems, office administration, and business communications. Business classes and courses in the Computer Applications and Office Technologies department opens the doors to those seeking employment in business, education and government in fields such as administrative assistants, accounting assistants, and administrative professionals.
All students, even those who are just interested in updating their computer skills, may earn certificates of completion in a wide variety of business-related computer application programs.
