One of the mid-level organizational entities of the College; usually associated with a cost center. The label refers not only to traditional academic Departments, but also to programs (e.g., PACE, Community Services), services (e.g., Admissions and Records, Citizenship Center, Child Development Center), and other offices (e.g., certain grant-funded programs). For purposes of the mainline planning process, it does not include programs which function under Regulated Planning Committees.
