The Citizenship Program offers the following services FREE of charge:

Citizenship orientation -
FREE non-credit Citizenship classes giving a basic overview of the American history and the American political system to help you become a U.S. citizen.

Assistance in completing your application for Naturalization (N-400)

Assistance in completing your N-400 Fee Waiver Request

Legal referral for special cases

Individual interview preparations

You may enroll in non-credit classes at any time during the semester.
The only requirement is to be 18 years of age or older.
Saturday citizenship classes available.

Program Hightlights
Day of Citizenship
NALEO Educational Fund, Univisión 34, Univisión Radio and La Opinión with the assistance of LASC students and LASC-Bridges to Success Center staff and other organizations sponsored a Day of Citizenship at the Convention Center on September 30, 2006. More than 2,800 eligible legal permanent residents received assistance filling out their applications for Naturalization. This event was one of many planned in Los Angeles County in order to help the estimated 750,000 legal permanent residents that are eligible to become citizens.
