The mission of Los Angeles Southwest College Career Services Center is to support the educational philosophy and goals of the College and to equip our students, scholars, alumni and community with the ability to address lifelong career direction, transitions, issues and satisfaction.

Employers and jobseekers can find the services they need at convenient One-Stop Career Center. We assist them by connecting employment, education, and training services into an intergrated network of resources.

Paid Internships Available

The Alliance to Save Energy seeks enthusiastic environmental advocates for the position of Green Campus Program Coordinator at Los Angeles Southwest College (LASC).

The Program Coordinator will work as part of a four-person team, and the position is slated for 8-12 hours per week (averaging 10 hours), compensated at $11 dollars per hour. The position is to start fall semester and run through the 2009-10 academic year, with the potential to work over the following summer. Paid and Unpaid Student Internships (pdf) The LACCD Interns Program was designed to connect students of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) with internship opportunities available at firms that provide products and/or services under the Proposition A/AA Bond Program. PVJOBS, a nonprofit organization, is coordinating the LACCD Interns Program on behalf of LACCD: we identify internship positions and find a match between applicants and employers. All internships are paid, unless noted.
