Welcome to Arts and Humanities
The Art and Humanities Department at Los Angeles Southwest College is comprised of Music, Art, Theater, Speech, Philosophy and Humanities disciplines. The department serves the campus by providing general education courses and offering Associate of Arts (AA) degrees in Music, Art, Speech, Theater, and Interdisciplinary Studies.
The department is also dedicated to serving the community by hosting activities and performances on campus. The campus theater is undergoing state-of-the-art renovations that will soon allow it to become a community hub for creative activity.
Calling all musicians, vocalists, instrumentalists, artists and Emcees, join the Music Club's Community Jam Sessions on Tuesday night in the Student Services Building (SSB) Lobby, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
