Monday: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.| 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. | 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Friday: Closed
All Southwest students may request reading assistance.
Students enrolled in reading courses are encouraged to utilize the center to complete online assignments included in their coursework.
Learning modules are also available to all current Reading 25, English 21 and English 28 students.
We have six new learning modules:
- Figurative Language
- Critical Thinking
- Topics and Main Ideas
- Vocabulary: Using Word Parts
- Facts or Opinions
- Reading charts, graphs, and tables
We also offer a series of workshops each semester. Topics include:
- Critical Thinking Techniques
- Critical Reading Strategies
- Vocabulary: Using Word Parts to Make Meaning
- Surveying A Textbook
