LASC's annual Black History Month "Read-In" will have a new twist this year as we will be reading Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech "King's Challenge to the Nation's Social Scientists." Dr. Kristine Wright, LASC's Sociology professor, will moderate. Readers will reflect on Dr. King's legacy and the relevance of his words in our lives today.

Participate in our social media campaign "King's Challenge" in which we invite students, staff, faculty and administrators to submit a video of themself accepting King's Challenge of "Humanism: Being Concerned With The Welfare Of ALL Humans."
