Be Active and Fit for a Lifetime of Enjoyment

Physical education benefits go beyond exercise and fitness. You will develop better posture, better eating habits, quicker reflexes, and have a better knowledge of how to keep yourself from getting physically injured. Physical education is also shown to improve concentration and academic performance, as well as leadership and teamwork skills.

LASC doesn’t currently have a degree or certificate program in Physical Education, but we offer dozens of courses where you can learn different physical skills. We also recommend looking at our Kinesiology program, as physical education is a central component. Staying physically active throughout your life is extremely important and it can help you get careers where being active is a part of your job!

Careers using Physical Education
