LASC and the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Student Grievance and Complaint Procedures are established so that students can resolve difficulties/problems they encounter in college-related activities. Student complaints are taken seriously. Learn more.

Online Classes
If you have a busy schedule, taking online and hybrid courses can give you a flexible way to get ahead! These types of courses are known as Distance Education courses where you don’t need to be physically on-campus for all or a part of them in order to complete them. Learn more about them.
Student Services
CalWORKs gives cash aid and employment services along with other benefits to families in need. GAIN program offers employment-related services CalWORKs members. Find out if you qualify!
CARE program brings additional benefits to Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) students who are parenting, receiving CalWORKs /TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) benefits, and are working towards getting a degree, transferring to a four-year university, or getting their credentials.

create a pathway to succeed. They can also help you choose a career based on your
interests and abilities.
We provide equal access to education to all students. If you have a disability, visit DSPS so we can provide services and accommodations for you to help you succeed in your educational, professional, and life goals.
If you are undocumented, the DRC can provide you and your family with information, support services, and resources to ensure you have the ability to pursue your educational and professional goals.
If you are a middle school or high school student who wants to go to college after you graduate high school, LASC’s Educational Talent Search (ETS) program can help make your transition from high school to college smooth and successful. Learn more.
EOPS has great resources and support services for full-time students who need extra assistance financially, in learning, and/or in speaking and understanding English. CARE offers even more services to EOPS students who are single parents. See if you are eligible!
If you are a former foster youth and are between 17-30 years-old, you can receive extra support services and can apply for scholarships for additional resources to help you succeed.
