Want to become a manager or supervisor? You can start preparing for your career before your first class starts at LASC:

  • Make an appointment with your LASC academic counselor to review LASC’s program, develop a Student Education Plan (SEP), and discuss if getting an associate or bachelor's degree would be a good match for your career goals.
  • Still in high school? Find out if your school has a business leaders or entrepreneurs club to join. Contact local businesses on if they have summer internships or if you can shadow an employee for a few weeks. Talk with your high school counselor for additional opportunities near you!
  • Once you’re at LASC, make sure to get involved with on and off-campus clubs and organizations, such as the LASC Entrepreneur Club and Toastmasters, and find out what other business opportunities LASC has through the School of Career Technical Education, such as business workshops and specific events on starting your own business, networking, career fairs. These build your resume and create new relationships to show potential employers your commitment to learning about the development of business and new technologies within banking and finance.
