Career & Technical Education Department
Welcome to the School of Career and Technical Education!
Career & Technical Education at Los Angeles Southwest College aims to serve the critical lifelong knowledge, training and skill development needs of individuals, organizations, and the community. We do this through certificate programs, continuing education, degree-related programs and community initiatives that support economic and workforce development.
Please note: Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and to help protect the health and safety of the entire Los Angeles Southwest College community while remaining committed to fulfilling our mission, campus leaders have decided to offer remote and online instruction for the remainder of the Spring Semester. If you have immediate questions, contact the division dean or the department chair whose contact information is listed in the "Contact Us" box toward the top left of this page.
Our goal is to be a major catalyst for the continued economic, workplace, and career pathways in the South Los Angeles region. Whether you're starting a new career, building a company, or developing skills for the future, as the resources you need to get started!
